Our 2018 Cabernet Franc is textbook rendition, exhibiting all the characteristics one would expect of this grape. Bright, crunchy red fruit and baking spice are backed up by the telltale herbal savoury character that is the hallmark of the variety. One third of the fruit used to make this wine was dried using the appassimento method, giving this wine body and concentration greater than the mean. The acidity and gentle tannin balance out the equation leading to a long pleasant finish. This wine pairs beautifully with brisket, BBQ lamb chops and grilled vegetables.
