From the solid growing season of 2019, this Cabernet Franc shows lovely depth and length. A portion of the fruit underwent the appassimento drying process followed by 18 months aging in French oak barrels. Bold aromatics jump out of the glass with black fruit and oak spice in the lead. Balanced tannins and juicy acidity carry the palate into a long finish. Pairs perfectly with cassoulet, braised beef and most classic winter fare.
