Made only in vintages deemed worthy, our Tara Block is sourced from our estate Pinot Noir 667, 777, and 828 clones, and hails from the 2020 ‘perfect vintage’. It is named after our winery co-founder, Jan Tarasewicz, and it is because of his years of hard work and dedication that we now have mature Pinot Noir vines to work with. After 18 months in barrel and 16 months resting in bottle, we can finally release this stunner. It presents a nose of redcurrant, black cherry and smoky spice delivering both depth and concentration. The palate reveals itself with layers of brightness, rich fruit flavours, subtle spice and a long evolving finish. Fermented with wild yeast, bottled unfined and unfiltered, this Pinot Noir will satisfy for many years to come.
