The Pipe Down 2021 is a blend of red Bordeaux grapes that we farm on the Beamsville Bench. The percentages of each variety changes year to year, but our goal with this wine is always the same: to make a wine that while complex and nuanced, is also immediately enjoyable upon release.  The nose on the 2021 Pipe Down is classic Bordeaux, with black currant, blueberry, barrel spice, and a floral violet note from the Petit Verdot component. The palate delivers with well-balanced fruit, fine tannin, cleansing acidity and a streak of minerality. Good to go now, even better in a few years.
