Just entering its peak drinking window after a few years of bottle age, the 2019 Cabernet Franc is hitting its stride. Quite perfumed with black cherry, violet, cigar tobacco, black licorice and graphite on the nose. The palate has filled out nicely and is fleshy with lots of fruit, well resolved tannins, and bright acidity on the finish. A really pure example of what Beamsville Bench Cab Franc can be.
